To always use https in your Browser

• Login to Gmail >settings>General >Browser Connection >select always use https ,save changes.

The problem with using https it makes loading of Gmail much slower than you use and you can not use standard http to access Gmail if you want to be secured you have to accept this feature otherwise you can disable https by selecting Don’t always use https in Gmail settings.

2.Don’t click on links you don’t know:If you receive emails from persons you don’t know just don’t open them ,don’t click on links send by other unknown IDs which may cause to hack your account credentials.

3.Don’t give your personal information:don’t give your personal information to others unless you trust them .

4.Use filters to block spam:You can create filters for those email-ids which you don’t want to receive you delete those messages completely by creating filters.

5.Frequently change your passwords:use strong passwords for Gmail account and change these passwords often to make sure your Gmail account is secured.

How to Shutdown Your Computer at Specific Time

There will be always a need for us to automatize the shutdown of computer in cases where we are downloading files which takes too long and doesn’t requires our presence we can shutdown computer at specified time after download completed.Here we can shutdown the computer at specified time using Scheduled task and Shutdown Monster

1.Open Scheduled tasks by start>settings>Control Panel>Scheduled Tasks>click Add Schedule tasks

2.Schedule Tasks Wizard opens click Next and Browse for “C:\Windows\System32” and find Shutdown click Open ,give it a name Shutdown choose when to perform this task for one time only of your need select One time Only(you can set daily,weekly or when you log on) click Next set start time and start Date click Next Enter name and password you use to log into Windows click Finish.

3.Now you can observe shutdown is added to scheduled tasks.

Bonus:We can add CCleaner or any program to scheduled tasks to start automatically whenever Computer starts,we can do it by adding them to start up folder also.

Shutdown Computer at specific Time using Shutdown Monster Freeware

Task Manager has been Disabled by Administrator

Sol1:By applying windows Group Policy Editor

• Click Start button click Run and Type Gpedit.msc Navigate to User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Ctrl+Alt+Del Options\Remove Task Manger
• Double Click Remove Task Manager and set it to Not Configured

Sol2:By Using Registry Editor

• Star Run and Type Regedit and Click o.k
• Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows current Version\Policies\System
• In the Right pane delete Value DisableTask mgr
• Close Registry Editor.

Delete Files Permanently Without moving to Recycle Bin

Generally We delete our files which then moves to the Recycle Bin and then we delete the files permanently from there .If we delete some files we know we don’t require them in future,hence deletion .So what’s point in moving files to Recycle bin and deleting files from there.We can delete files permanently without moving to Recycle Bin.

We can also delete files permanently by using Shift +Delete also,but we can automatically do that without the use of Shift button.For this we are using inbuilt Group Policy editor.

1.Click Start>run>type Gpedit.msc and press Enter.

2.Now expand User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Explorer in the left pane and select Do not move deleted files to Recycle Bin in the right pane and double click it set it enabled.

3.Restart your computer.

4.From now onwards if you delete a file it will be permanently deleted without moving that file to Recycle bin.

5.If you don’t want this follow the steps from 1 to 2 and set that option to disabled.
